The Venue

The Wellington National Park Trails are part of the Wambenger Trails network, which includes short and overnight walk, cycle, drive and paddle experiences in the Collie region. The icon for this network is the wambenger, a little-known Australian carnivorous marsupial that is listed as a threatened species and restricted to the south-west forests. This Collie local and brush-tailed dynamo is active under the cover of darkness and spends most of its time in the tree canopy.

This network is the largest mountain bike trail network in Western Australia, featuring nearly 100km of exceptional trails and linking iconic sites such as Wellington Dam, Honeymoon Pool, Mount Lennard and the spectacular Collie River Valley. For beginners to experts, there are plenty of climbs, descents, technical downhill and cross-country pedalling.

Within Wellington National Park, the Wambenger Trails are separated by the Collie River, creating two lots of trails: Wellington Trails East and Wellington Trails West.

Let’s Go Enduro!

Experience the ultimate ride at the Wooditjup Trails in Margaret River – where short and fast descents, technical features, and epic forest scenery create the perfect playground for mountain bikers of all levels making this a great introduction to Enduro and welcoming start to the Series!

This quality trail network managed by MRORCA is built for adrenaline and adventure who have milked every metre of elevation possible. Don’t miss your chance to race, ride, and revel in the heart of WA’s MTB paradise!

The Venue

Wooditjup Trails (aka The Pines) in Margaret River is proudly managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions in partnership with the Margaret River Off-Road Cycling Association (MRORCA).

With recent redevelopments and exciting new trail additions, the network has been given a fresh boost, making it an even more popular destination just north of the Margaret River townsite. Designed for flow and fun, these predominantly machine-built trails feature gentle grades and smooth lines, but don’t be fooled—there are still plenty of technical rocky features and big kickers to keep riders on their toes. Surrounded by towering trees that provide ample shade, it’s a stunning spot to ride year-round.

We’re thrilled to continue supporting the trails by donating funds for their ongoing sustainability!
