WA Gravity Enduro

Pushing your limits since 2014.

Welcome to 2024 – Year 11!

Last year we celebrated a decade of WA Gravity Enduro, and it was an absolute ripper! Packed with thrills and spills and adventure, it is now looked back on with fond memories of great times.

2024 is shaping up to be just as epic as for the first time ever, the National Gravity Enduro Series lands in WA! We can’t wait to showcase the WA MTB Community and trails.

Enduro racing isn’t just for the pros – it’s for everyone! From weekend warriors to families, kids to seniors, we all come together to test our mettle on the iconic trails of WA. It’s where we find out who truly reigns supreme as the Mountain Biking Athletes of Western Australia.

We’re all about giving back to our community, inspiring healthy competition, and fostering a thriving riding culture. Whether it’s the rookies pushing their limits or the elites making waves on the global stage, we’re proud of every single rider.

We’re committed to providing top-notch Enduro experiences across Western Australia, giving back through donations, fundraisers, and supporting local initiatives. We work hand-in-hand with trail custodians, governments, local businesses, and Auscycling to ensure our events are top-notch and leave a positive impact wherever we go.

So, what are you waiting for?

Let’s Go ENDURO!!!

WA Gravity Enduro events are sanctioned through Auscycling, Australia’s peak cycling body. All riders on course (competitors and shadow riders) are therefore required to have Auscycling Insurance which is mandatory.

Auscycling offers a number of Insurance Options for Competitors

If you are not affiliated with a Club, please enter ‘Western Trails Alliance Inc’ when requested during signup. It is free and shows support for local trail builders.

Once you have your insurance confirmed, make note of your Auscycling Membership Number to enter it into EntryBoss Profile when signing up to compete. More information available at www.wagravityenduro.org/how-to-enter

ROUND 1

MARGARET RIVER + DUNSBOROUGH

ON SATURDAY, 9th March 2024, we head to the iconic Margaret River trails also known as ‘The Pines’ or ‘Wooditjup Trails.’ The venue has seen some recent upgrades plus the completion of new trails. With short and fast descents, machine-made berms plus some rocky sections for good measure, its a great warm-up event for the new year and a great introduction to new Enduro riders.

ON SUNDAY, 10th March 2024, we head to the Dunsborough and Districts Country Club and ride some more fun (and pedally) trails with plenty of jumps for the riders and spectators. Although relatively flat, the Cape Mountain Bikers and supporters have done an amazing job squeezing in as much goodness as possible, and even a bit of ‘gnar!’

Riders are permitted to race just a single day, however, Series points and weekend overall positions are only awarded to riders who complete both days racing. No presentations on Saturday – all final results and presentations take place following Sunday racing.

ROUND 2

Pemberton MTB Park

Saturday Practise 20th April 2024

Sunday Racing 21st April 2024

A popular stop on the WA Gravity Enduro tour, Pemberton Mountain Bike Park sits among tall Karri Trees conveniently close to Pemberton Town Centre and its amenities. Held in May, we are on the hunt for primo riding conditions with grippy ‘hero-dirt’ if we see some rain before the event.

Competitors often take the opportunity to explore the nearby area, stocking up on local produce and soaking in the laid-back atmosphere of the region.

ROUND 3

Evedon Lakeside Retreat, Burekup

Saturday Practise 18th May 2024

Sunday Racing 19th May 2024

You’ve ranked this among the top Enduro destinations on the calendar, and we’re excited to come back to this hidden gem nestled in the Dardanup hills, just 30 minutes east of Bunbury.

With on-site parking, chalets, and camping options, it’s easy to feel the weekend is more of a getaway than just a race.

The trails here are challenging, raw, rocky and technical, providing ample chances for spectators to witness the excitement and drama unfold on these demanding trails.

And this is your only opportunity to ride the trails at this venue each year!

ROUND 4

Echidna Park Sporting Clays, East Chapman (Geraldton)

2024 WA GRAVITY ENDURO STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday Practise 6th July 2024

Sunday Racing 7th July 2024

New in ’22, it took many by surprise with technical trails across three hills. Sweeping 360 degree views, great spectator opportunities, on-site camping and caravanning, cafe and licensed area was a big highlight of this event.

Access to these trails is only permitted during our event which makes it a great level playing field for the WA Gravity Enduro State Championships ’24!

The locals have done an amazing job getting multiple trails online and we are expecting some new variations in 2024 thanks to the Happy Echidna Mountain Bike Park (HEMP)!

ROUND 5

Goat Farm MTB Park, Greenmount, Perth

Saturday Practise 10th August 2024

Sunday Racing 11th August 2024

We return to the Goat Farm mid-winter on the quest for some gnarly slippery rocks and roots on the doorstep to Perth! The Goat Farm is unforgiving at the best of times for event organisers, spectators and competitors so be sure to take is easy moving throughout the area.

The Goat Farm has seen a massive redevelopment in recent years with some epic features including a bridge, road gaps and treacherous rock gardens will mean competitors need to ride smart to conditions and their abilities!

ROUND 6

Nannup Tank 7 MTB Park

Saturday Practise 14th September 2024

Sunday Racing 15th September 2024

How good was Nannup ’23! The inaugural event was sensational and with thanks to the Nannup Mountain Bike Club, we can’t wait to return to this jewel in the south west, just a short ride from Nannup Town Centre.

There is a great diversity of flow and natural trail and with some challenging rock gardens thrown in the mix – but don’t fear as there are plenty of rollable ‘B’ lines ensuring this event is suitable for all.

As per 2023, it is highly recommended to carpool as the parking area can fillup fast, or better yet, get some accommodation in town and ride in!

ROUND 7

COMING SOON!

2024 AUSTRALIAN GRAVITY ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIPS!

18 – 20 October 2024

For the first time ever, the AusCycling Australia Gravity Enduro Championships are heading to Western Australia! We can’t wait to showcase some of our awesome trail networks and hospitality of the WA MTB Industry.

Looking forward to making an announcement soon!

ROUND 8

Linga Longa Bike Park, Balingup

2024 SERIES FINALE!

Saturday Practise 16th November 2024

Sunday Racing 17th November 2024

Linga Longa Bike Park once again offers a brilliant venue to send out the year!

Tailor-made Enduro trails surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, the serenity is shattered as riders cheer and yahoo down some of the longest and rowdiest trails in Western Australia. With delicious food and drink readily available at the on-site cafe, shuttles, camping sites and large swimming dam, there is plenty of activity happening all weekend.

We are always spoilt and grateful for the awesome Linga Longa hospitality and we can’t wait to cap off an epic 2024!
